We care about your data and we keep it to a minimum. Below, briefly and in plain words: what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what rights you have.

Who we are

The data controller is NORTHPIXEL DEVELOPMENT SRL (VAT number 54563690, registered with the Trade Register under no. J2026027616006), based in Romania, which runs northpixel.ro. For anything concerning your data, write to us at contact@northpixel.ro.

What we collect, and why

When you write through the contact form

We collect what you give us: name, email address, project type and the message itself. We use it to reply and to discuss a possible collaboration. Legal basis: the pre-contractual steps you requested, plus our legitimate interest in answering the messages we receive.

When you accept analytics

If you press Accept in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, device type, aggregated and anonymised data that does not identify you). Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Details in the cookie policy.

When we email you

If we write to introduce what we do, the link in the message passes through northpixel.ro and records that it was opened, with the time and browser type. We do not keep the IP address. It tells us whether the message was useful, so we do not insist where it is not. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in presenting our services to other businesses. You can ask us to stop writing at any time.

Who we pass it to

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the suppliers who keep the site running:

• Google (Google Analytics): only if you accepted analytics.
• Resend: the service that delivers the form email to us.
• Our hosting provider: on whose server the site runs.

Each of them processes data under its own confidentiality commitments. Where data leaves the European Union, to the United States for instance, the transfer is covered by recognised legal frameworks such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google is certified.

How long we keep it

• Messages from the form: as long as our conversation needs them and a reasonable period after, then we delete them.
• Analytics data: at most as long as Google Analytics retains it (up to two years), in aggregated form.
• Opens of the links in our emails: at most 12 months, then we delete them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of your data;
• correct data that is wrong;
• ask for it to be deleted;
• object to the processing, or restrict it;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawful processing that happened before.

To exercise any of them, write to us at contact@northpixel.ro. If you feel something is wrong, you can also address the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).

Security

We keep data on modern infrastructure, with limited access. No system is perfect, but we treat your data with the care we would want for our own.

Changes

If we update this policy, we change the date below. The current version is always here.
